Christians in South Africa participated in a nine month prayer initiative called CLEANSING SOUTH AFRICA, confessing sin, praying and blessing their cities, towns and villages, in 2001. The initiative closed with a Day of Prayer on Naval Hill, in Bloemfontein, on 3 November 2001, to dedicate the nation to Jesus.
